Cutting Board Care


Wash boards after use in warm, soapy water, removing any chunks of food before washing. Do not soak in water or use in in the dishwasher, this can negatively affect your cutting board, so please dry thoroughly. Alternatively you can remove odors and sanitize with vinegar.

Mineral oil or mixture with bees wax is typically used as a regular seasoning/protective coating. Do not use vegetable oil or olive oil. To season, start with a clean, dry cutting board. Coat entire surface with a layer of oil/ paste and rub it in. Buff to remove any oil that may not have been absorbed.
